A word nerd with an eternal messy bun, Kelsey Hannah is a 2021 graduate of MacEwan University's Bachelor of Communications Studies program who specializes in the field of Professional Communications.
Beginning her journey in marketing and communications in 2017 volunteering for two music festivals as a social media manager, event planner and editor, she found her passion in blending the artistic and logistic into a consumer-friendly package.
Since launching Brand Practice after graduating, she has had the pleasure of assisting a variety of budding businesses form their messaging, brand identity, and web presence. She also enjoys the personal communications aspect helping individuals land interviews by leveling up their resume and cover letter or helping write speeches, bios, wedding websites etc.
Kelsey enjoys project planning and helping her clients' creative visions take form. She has an eye for the aesthetic, is easy to work with, loves structure and has great foresight which makes her the perfect addition to your team.
Some feedback she's received from clients is that they would be “so lost without [her]” and that she makes what they thought would be an intimidating task, such as developing their brand, easy and approachable. Her supervisors have called her “the glue holding everything together” and she has been praised for her meticulous attention to detail.
Stemming from her years serving in the restaurant biz, she has mastered the art of customer service, she speaks and writes in French and English, she's passionate about community-building and engagement, and technically, she excels at writing and editing for clarity.
Having worked/volunteered consistently throughout her studies and since launching her business, Kelsey has accumulated 6 years of practical experience in the fields of internal and external communications. Kelsey loves what she does and enjoys helping others do the same!
